I sat alone at the dinner table for about 30 minutes until a couple from Oxford, England (Adrian & Graham) showed up followed by Eva from Australia. There are 1000 Australians on board, 300 Americans and the remainder are of other nationalities. At the opening curtain of the stage show, I thought I was traveling back in time as I stared at the handsome young drummer. He looked so much like Chad! He even turned his head to the side as he played and had wonderful technique and fabulous fills. I thought I was back on the Tropical. I got up early and walked the deck. My Fitbit didn't adjust to the time change so it is mixing up my distance walked but it doesn't matter. The waters of the pacific look like someone put blue food color in them in the wake of the ship - it's a very pretty blue. I'm going to a solo travelers meeting this morning.

Hi Mom! Hope the solo travelers meeting was interesting! Did you meet some nice people? Do you have the same people for dinner every night or will it be different folks? How are you finding the accents? Do they charm you or is it just strange? Do they have midnight buffets, and if so, did you go? Have you explored the ship? Anything interesting?
ReplyDeleteAll is well in NJ. Lots of black ice on the roads today, which makes me incredibly jealous of my mom sailing the lovely blue sea. I miss you!
Hey Aunt Mel,
ReplyDeleteSolo travel group sounds good! Keep the pictures coming! Have you checked out the casino yet? I love the penny slots!
